The Corporate Sales division had been using Salesforce for a long time but only sporadically. Much of the data resided in numerous spreadsheets. The quality of data within Salesforce was poor and no reliable management reporting was possible.
The instance of Salesforce did not reflect the actual business processes followed within Corporate Sales division.
User adoption levels were very low as maintaining data within Salesforce became just another chore.
Salesforce Solution
We adopted the strategy to relaunch Salesforce within Corporate Sales division after rectifying the data and customising Salesforce to correctly reflect the desired business processes.
The data gathered over the years was of immense value but wasn’t clean and usable. The data was cleaned and restructured through a combination of several custom built data cleansing utilities and manual rectification. The data was programmatically restructured to be usable with target state business processes.
Salesforce configuration was completely overhauled to reflect the new business processes.
