GPs and medical practices refer patients to this specialist provider of health care services. They have been using a customised version of an off the shelf Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software as their core record keeping system for many years.
Relationships with the GPs and medical practices is crucial for them to sustain the flow of referrals and grow the business. The EMR was not able to support their relationship management needs. Even basic reporting centered on individual GPs and Practices was tedious and often unreliable.
Salesforce Solution
We delivered a medical practice and practitioner centric CRM system that allowed the client to consolidate the EMR referral and invoicing data.
This data is extracted from the EMR system every night, then sanitised programmatically as far as possible before updating the data into the CRM system. We also delivered custom tools to cleanse and update any data that could not be processed programmatically.
We built numerous reports and dashboards that allowed them to view GPs and practices based on a variety of referral trends. They are now able to identify the need and develop their marketing initiatives in a targeted way.
